Hrudaya – Cure a Little Heart Foundation, offers pre and post-surgery support to patients and their families.
Pre-surgery support involves examination of financial need verified through various means including interviews, document support and access to Government funded healthcare programs. Once the need has been established, the child receives no cost diagnostic testing and surgery.
Prior to discharge from the Hospital, families are counseled about the patient’s health and nutritional needs, and the various measures they can undertake to aid in the post-operative recovery of the patient. Families are invited to come back for a free Fetal Echocardiography, conducted at 20 weeks of pregnancy, if they decide to have another child.
